Never heard of Fascia Flossing? That’s okay—you don’t need to know anything about fascia before you come.
Think of this class as a combination of movement, stretching, and self-massage. You’ll use gentle resistance followed by lengthening and flowing movements to work with the connective tissue that surrounds and supports your muscles and joints. The result is a greater sense of ease, fluidity, and freedom in everyday movement.
What to expect: We’ll work with the whole body rather than focusing on one muscle at a time. Some movements may feel unfamiliar at first, but you’ll be guided through everything. You don’t need to be particularly flexible or athletic to participate.
Bring: Two yoga blocks. We have blocks available if you don't have your own.
You may especially enjoy this class if you: feel stiff or restricted, want more ease in your everyday movement, or simply enjoy exploring different ways of feeling good in your body.
Props required- 2 yoga blocks. Bring your own or use ones at the Movement Lab.
